A Maori cultural group performs throughout the day with performances representing the story of Aotearoa through traditional song and dance. The Auckland Museum is a wonderful place to learn about New Zealand and the Pacific, including the remarkable flora and fauna. The Museum has wonderful natural history galleries where visitors can explore the unique New Zealand landscape. Entry is by donation. Guided tours operate daily at 10.30am and profile the most important and fascinating objects within the Museum, including an original World War 2 aircraft!

Works are also displayed in the Foyer and Sculpture Garden. The gallery shop has an excellent range of gifts and arts books for sale. Cards, prints and posters are also available for purchase, along with uniquely New Zealand goods.
