There is an easy and very popular track that can take you around Lake Matheson and takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete, it is even suitable for wheelchairs as far as the Jetty Viewpoint. The Clearwater River suspension bridge is just a few minutes from the car park and suitable for wheelchairs. The Jetty Viewpoint provides a magnificent mountain view reflected in the dark waters; and you will find a similarly magnificent mountain reflection shrouded in native foliage at the View of Views at the top end of the lake, and again at the Reflection Island a little further along the north side.
